BLEEDINGHAM XIII: Best Feature Film and More!
DATE: October 26th, 2024
TIME: 6:10 pm
LOCATION: The Pickford Film Center @ 1318 Bay St
Each year, only one feature film with the highest judges’ score earns the coveted spot at the Pickford as Best Feature Film. The feature films screening in the festival circuit are films you generally won’t see anywhere else. The winning film will be announced 2 weeks before the festival, once the judging has commenced. Be prepared for anything when you purchase tickets to this block, as we do not censor filmmakers and these films are not rated. You could be in for horror comedy, tales of the supernatural, mental distortion, or just a good old fashioned horror slasher!
As is tradition, we will be giving away local prizes to a few lucky attendees at every film block! And don’t forget to get a snap at the Bleedingham photo booth before you go!

BLEEDINGHAM XIII: WA 15 minute and under Official Selection and Award Ceremony

Bleedingham Film Festival 13 beckons local filmmakers and horror fans to creep out of the shadows for a night of scary tales! Prepare to feast your eyes on the blood-soaked brilliance of Washington State’s finest short horror films, scored and selected by our panel of judges.
After the show, the main theater will host the awards ceremony and present the grand prize of $1000 to the Best WA state short film!
Your hosts for the evening, Bleedingham’s own, Langley West and the bewitching Jackie Kersten, will guide you through a night of scary fun, audience giveaways, and an abundance of horror shenanigans. There will be snacks, Bleedingham photo booth and everyday bonus – the Pickford sells beer and wine to help calm your nerves once the lights go down! Will you survive the night? Only one way to find out.
BLEEDINGHAM XIII: Creepy Cornucopia

Elevate your Halloweekend with a chilling blend of WA state and international horror shorts, plus, the Best 15-30 minute shorts, Best 5 minute film and Best student film. This is a great block to get a little taste of everything, not to mention a great pre-dinner date on a blustery October Sunday. Start off with getting your scariest pictures at the Bleedingham photo booth, grab some drinks and snacks from the Pickford concessions and get into the spooky season spirit! Bleedingham attendees are eligible for local prizes at every screening!
BLEEDINGHAM XIII: Beyond WA

The Beyond WA block is the grand finale of the festival, showcasing the best short films from all over the world. We can’t think of a better way to spend the end of Sunday before Halloween to get you in the scary mood. So get into your comfy clothes, grab a Jones Soda from the Pickford soda fountain or your favorite beer/wine, a big bag of popcorn and prepare yourself for a scream filled evening of tales of terror! Don’t forget to get a before and after pic at the Bleedingham photo booth to share with your ghoulish friends! And bonus, if you are one of those lucky types, you could go home with a gift card or merch from a local business!
